Here is your starter size guide, to make your life easier:

Size option 1:

For paddlers < 100kg             

  • ​80% of users - The most commonly purchased option making it your A-typical starter board.
  • Agility: More agile than the XL so it performs better in tight turns and surf maneuvers. 
  • Lighter: The board is slightly lighter than the XL size board, which also makes it more user friendly.

Size option 2:

For paddlers between 100 - 140 kg

(Or, paddlers wishing to do YOGA/FISH)       

  • Stability: This board has an extra 80 liters of volume as a result of its increased thickness, which makes it more stable.
  • Specialised: Added board stability allows for more ideal specialist applications such as yoga, fishing or yacht tendering.
  • Doubling: The extra buoyancy of the board makes it better for doubling with other people or pets.

Of course, at Maverick we offer a 7-day return policy with 100% money-back guaranteed from the day of receiving your board. That said no one has exercised this yet as everyone loves their boards!

How long will it take for my board to arrive?
2-4 business days from time of order. We ship using New Zealand post and dispatch all orders one business day after receiving your order.

Does this package include everything I need?
